OLIZAIR was created in June 2002, three months after the collapse of Air Afrique (the former multinational airline jointly owned by 11 French speaking African states).

The basic motivation that underlies the conception of OLIZAIR resides in its promoter’s will to provide all the stakeholders in West and Central Africa with the experience acquired in various fields of air transport.

As a matter of fact, Mr. Georges Amoussou, OLIZAIR founder, has a 35-year wide and rich experience in that domain (see his career path).

Considering that imagination efforts can help reverse the prevailing trend to disorganization in this sector, OLIZAIR has undertaken since its creation to elaborate and implement new products for the general public, companies and air operators.
